HISTORICALLY: Talk on the Bloc started in year 2013 as one of the premier shows on Speak Music Radio. It was originally name “Cypher on the Bloc” and was a platform that discussed Religious and Social issues in the Community. Its format included featuring indie Christian and Gospel Rap/Urban music. This shows reached thousands of people in the christian community bringing societal awareness to that community and the knowledge of God. As years went on Chris wanted to reach a broader audience as politics became a hot topic. Branding the show universally as “Talk On The Bloc” we where able to reach millions of people even today this day. Cancel culture has caused many of our social media platforms to be shut down but we continue to push forward. Still maintaining it now 2 brands TOTB and COTB. COTB being the push for the christian & uplifting HipHop culture.
